Northumbrian Pointing specialises in dry-slake, hot lime mortar repointing for stone buildings.

This material is highly recommended and authentic to the age of period stone properties, offering these buildings the chance to ‘breathe’ as they were intended. Replacing poor quality mortar, or worse, cement repointing from a time when we didn’t know any better with lime mortar, will preserve the quality of stone properties and help to restore them to their former glory.

During the full house repointing process, Steph will be there to guide you and answer any questions, while Ash will lead his team on the ground (or scaffolding!) to maintain high-standards, quality workmanship and attention to detail from start to finish. Although some mess is unavoidable, especially during the first stage - removal of the existing mortar, this will be kept to a minimum and collected as quickly as possible.
