Why Homeowners Choose Northumbrian Pointing

Based in Hexham, we are a family-run lime mortar pointing company serving the Tyne Valley, Northumberland and the wider North-East of England region.

We specialise in traditional lime mortar pointing, helping to preserve and protect older stone buildings using time-honoured methods. With a strong belief in sympathetic restoration, we are committed to maintaining the character, integrity, and longevity of period properties.

We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and perfectionism; traditional methods require patience and skill. We never cut corners by using cement on stone buildings or pointing over the top of badly prepared previous mortar. Sadly, we see too much of this in Northumberland.
